How Come My Car Won’t Start?
There can be multiple reasons a Vehicle will not start. This can cause a major inconvenience in your day. Let’s take a look at some of the more common reasons your Car may not start so that you can prevent this from happening to you.
Your Battery may not be working at its peak performance. Over time Vehicle Batteries simply deteriorate. This could take three to five years. You may have noticed your Vehicle is harder to start in the morning or it starts inconsistently prior to a no start.
Your Battery Cables/Terminals may be corroded or not connected. Open your Vehicle’s hood, check to see if your terminals are clean and free of corrosion. Ensure the Terminals are securely attached to the Battery.
Your Alternator might be bad. The Alternator sends current back to recharge the Battery as you drive. You may have noticed Dim, Flickering Lights. This could have been on your Dashboard, overhead Lights or your Headlights.
Your Starter may have gone out. When a Starter has gone out, when you turn the Key or push the button, nothing happens. Prior to this you may have previously noticed some Clicking Noises, however a Starter can die without any previous signs.
